The team is focused on the remaining testing and commissioning activities and operational running on the alignment.

Activities Across the Alignment Construction Update

Occupancy permits have been issued for all stations. Final clean-up at all stations is still underway.

Train Testing

34 trains are certified and are operating on the guideway, including end-to-end runs, as part of the testing program.

Final vehicle adjustments are also underway.This includes final tuning of the Guideway Intrusion Detection System (GIDs) scanners and software.

Commissioning of the communications systems at the Transit Operation Control Centre (TOCC) is ongoing.

Multiple trains continue to travel the length of the system and crews are continuing to run tests simulating the Confederation Line in operation, with maintenance and inspections at the Maintenance and Storage Facility.
OC Transpo’s Electric Rail Operator training is ongoing.

Blair Station

In the coming weeks, the following activities are scheduled to occur:

  • Trial running
  • Safety Auditor sign-off
  • Installation of public art at Tremblay Station
