The track and Overheard Catenary System (OCS) are certified for operation at line speed (50 km/hr); some vehicles are also certified for line speed operations. End-to-end guideway testing is ongoing at full line speed. Coupled train testing continues. Landscaping works as well as testing and commissioning occur throughout the alignment. At the downtown stations, the installation and testing of fare gates is underway.
Tunney’s Pasture Station
The wood ceiling installation nears completion; when completed, crews will address mechanical and electrical finishes. Landscaping activities occur at the south perimeter of the station, along Scott Street.
The south and east entrance plazas are finalized. Elevators undergo final commissioning. Miscellaneous works remain.

Final touch-ups are underway. Remaining communication devices, light fixtures and electrical door systems are installed. The elevators near completion and are prepared for final TSSA inspection. Fare gates continue to be tested.
At the concourse, fare gates undergo testing, ceiling installations advance and painting is ongoing. Benches continue to be installed at the platform. The remaining elevator glass is installed.
Parliament Station – west entrance
Glazing and wood ceiling installations are compete. Tiling at the vestibule doors continues and handrails are put in. Exterior roof works continue.
Parliament Station – east entrance
Installation of the wood ceiling is complete. Exterior roof works continue. Wall tiling and handrail installations occur.
Rideau Station – west entrance
The public art wall glazing and fare gates continue to be installed. Stair and escalator cladding are installed, while painting progresses.
Rideau Station – east entrance
Glazing installations for the public art wall and stairways progress. Fare gates are installed at the concourse, while wall and floor tiling continue. Handrail installations are complete.
Miscellaneous finishing works are underway as testing and commissioning activities continue.
Stations along the eastern alignment, Lees, Hurdman, Tremblay, St-Laurent, Cyrville and Blair, are undergoing miscellaneous finishing work as testing and commissioning activities continue.
Guideway and Testing
Communications Based Train Control (CBTC) testing in the tunnel is now complete and the entire guideway is now available for Automatic Train Operation (ATO). Upcoming Construction Activities

- Architectural finishes and landscaping works at the western stations
