This notice is to advise that, as part of the O-Train Confederation Line Light Rail Transit (LRT) Project, a significant concrete pour is planned for the Rideau Station east entrance.
WHAT: A concrete pour to support construction activities at the Rideau Station east entrance. The concrete pour will take approximately 15 hours to complete.
WHERE: Rideau Station east entrance, at William and Rideau streets.
WHEN: The concrete pour is anticipated to begin on July 12th, 2016 at 9pm.
PEDESTRIAN, RESIDENTIAL & BUSINESS IMPACTS
- Noise impacts are anticipated to be moderate and soundsources will be attributed to construction equipment, including vehicles, trucks and backup beepers, concrete trucks and a concrete pump.
- Access will be maintained and sidewalks will not be impacted during business hours, however access to and from William Street will be restricted from the north sidewalk towards Dalhousie Street. Pedestrians will be detoured to the south sidewalk. Flaggers will be on site to assist as required.
- An overnight noise exemption has been granted for this work.
