This week, eastern stations continue to take shape as crews pour concrete and install structural steel. Along the guideway, track installation continues between Tremblay and Blair stations, where the vehicle testing will take place as early as the fall. Integrated stations continue to progress with concrete works. In the west, preliminary construction is ongoing at Pimisi and Bayview stations and crews finalize works at the Tunney’s Pasture temporary bus loop.

Tunney’s Pasture Station: crews install light poles and complete electrical connections for the Tunney’s Pasture Station temporary bus loop.
Bayview Station: here you see crews drilling and pouring caissons as part of station foundation work. During lifting operations currently underway, and for the safety of all Bayview pathway users, short-term closures and realignments of the multi-use pathway will be required. Flaggers are on site to assist users.
Pimisi Station: crews install caissons and excavate for station footings.
Lyon Station cavern: Here you see preparations for concrete pours. At the West Portal, excavation and reinforcements are ongoing in preparation for future guideway work.
Parliament Station west entrance: at the station entrance, crews install rebar and pour the concrete slab and columns. Crews excavate and install reinforcements at street level.
Parliament Station east entrance: crews install formwork, rebar and pour concrete for the station walls. Structural steel installation for the columns begins.
Rideau Station west entrance: crews excavate and install reinforcements. Mechanical work, rebar installation and waterproofing also occur.
At uOttawa Station, pictured here, foundation work has begun. Crews waterproof and install rebar for the future location of the station elevators.
Lees Station: station foundation work includes drilling and pouring caissons. Demolition of the sidewalks and material removals are finalized.
Hurdman Station: crews install rebar, pour concrete and complete grading. Crews mobilize to begin structural steel work.
At Tremblay Station, seen here, crews are pouring the station footings, columns and concourse slab. Structural steel and masonry installation occur. Backfilling of the platform area and work on the electrical room are ongoing.
Cyrville Station: crews install the metal roof deck and structural steel. Rebar installation and concrete pours occur at the station concourse level. Crews complete station trackwork including tamping.

Tunnel Excavation and Support
Running tunnel east of Parliament: mining of the running tunnel bench is ongoing.
Guideway Construction – Tunney’s Pasture Station moving east, Bayview CPR Bridge to Preston Street, Mann Avenue Bridge to west of Lees Station, Rideau River Transitway Bridge to east of Hurdman Station and west of Tremblay Station to Blair Station.
Tunney’s Pasture Station moving east: crews continue preparing the future site of the TPSS just east of the station; activities include line drilling and hoe ramming.
Here you see CPR Bridge near Bayview Station, where caissons are being installed.
Mann Avenue Bridge to west of Lees Station: sewer work is ongoing in preparation for future trackwork along this section of the guideway.
Rideau River Transitway Bridge to east of Hurdman Station: crews backfill, remove materials and continue building the retaining wall during daytime and overnight.
West of Tremblay Station to Blair Station: near Tremblay Station, crews install ballast and pull rail moving west.
Here you see final track alignments being completed between St-Laurent Station and Blair Station in preparation for vehicle testing as early as the fall.
CPR Bridge near Bayview Station: crews begin constructing the bridge columns.
Here you see Booth Street Bridge where crews continue working on the parapet walls. Electrical installations are ongoing in preparation for the reinstatement of Booth Street as early as September.
