West Stations

Tunney’s Pasture Station: crews install granular, begin electrical work at the south platform and pour concrete at the north platform as part of temporary bus loop work.

Pimisi Station: station excavation and material removals are ongoing as part of preliminary station construction.

Central Stations

Lyon Station cavern: crews waterproof the station arch, pour the mudslab and install formwork for the centre pillar columns as part of station construction.
At West Portal, crews continue excavating the ramp.

Lyon Station west entrance: hoe ramming, blasting, material removals and support installations are ongoing.
At the west vent shaft, crews continue line drilling and hoe ramming. At the east vent shaft, crews begin drilling soldier piles.

Lyon Station east entrance: crews install formwork and rebar, and demolish slabs and the elevator.

Parliament Station cavern: crews complete excavation of the final section of the bench and continue reinforcements.

Parliament Station west entrance: crews install conduits, formwork, rebar and pour concrete as part of escalator work.

Parliament Station east entrance: crews install structural steel on the concourse level and begin shoring and excavation at the Heritage Place entrance.

Traffic restrictions on Queen and O’Connor streets remain in effect. 

Demolition of the existing structure at uOttawa Station - Démolition de la structure existante à la station uOttawa.

Central Stations

Rideau Station east entrance: crews waterproof the entrance and begin installing rebar.

Rideau Station west entrance: crews install formwork, pour the mudslab and begin mechanical works. Micro-pile drilling continues as part of umbrella work.

Traffic restrictions on Rideau Street remain in effect.

uOttawa Station: crews continue mobilizing, demolition of existing structures and begin shoring and piling activities overnight.

East Stations

Lees Station: crews complete fencing, and demolish and remove existing structures to allow for station construction to begin.

Closure of Transitway pedestrian access from Lees to uOttawa stations.

Hurdman Station: crews install insulation, formwork, rebar and grade beams as part of station construction. Excavation, removals and electrical work are ongoing, part of permanent bus loop construction.

Tremblay Station: crews continue forming and installing walls and backfilling, and begin working on footings for the canopy. Pedestrian realignment will occur at the station in the next weeks.


Work on the auxiliary building roof at Cyrville Station - Travaux sur le toit de l'édifice auxiliaire à la station Cyrville.

East Stations

St-Laurent Station: crews install steel beams in the electrical room, continue mechanical and electrical work and excavate the north platform. Concrete pours for the fixation track slab occur this week.

Cyrville Station: crews continue working on the roof and install masonry on the auxiliary building. Preliminary watermain relocation activities begin.

Blair Station: crews continue backfilling, waterproofing and structural steel installation. Track installation begins in the station.

Shotcrete in the running tunnel east of Parliament Station - Béton projeté dans le tunnel à l'est de la station Parlement.

Tunnel Excavation and Support

Running tunnel east of Parliament Station: mining continues east toward Rideau Station cavern supported by shotcrete and rockbolt installations.
Rideau Station cavern: central pillar mining is ongoing along with support activities. Waterproofing continues on the north side of the station and crews begin installing formwork and rebar as part of station work.

Hurdman Station to East Portal: crews mobilize onsite to begin grading and preliminary guideway work

Hurdman Station Elevated Guideway: rebar installation and formwork are finalized and crews survey the deck to prepare to pour concrete in the coming weeks.

Tremblay Station: guideway activities continue including OCS foundation installations.

St-Laurent Station to Blair Station: crews install ballast, complete tamping and begin surveying for final track alignment.

Crews prepare for the next TPSS delivery at Cyrville Station.

Finalizing formwork installation on the Booth Street Bridge - Installation du coffrage finalisée sur le pont de la rue Booth.

Other Activities

CPR Bridge near Bayview Station: crews complete backfilling and prepare for caisson installation.

Booth Street Bridge: crews begin pouring the bridge deck as part of the next phase of bridge construction.

Queen Street renewal: crews begin initial mobilization to prepare for sanitary and storm sewer relocations.

Traffic restrictions on Queen Street between Bay and Metcalfe streets remain in effect.
